Where am I? I feel the sun on my back and sand in my face. Last I knew I was on a boat home. We had just left Africa for the king’s daughter’s wedding. My robes are wet as if I just went swimming. Ow, my head. What happened to me? I was on the boat…, and then a storm came. Now the fuzziness of the incident is slowly dissipating. I remember a storm; the worse I have ever seen. People were everywhere, while Boatswain was trying to safely guide us home. Are we home or are we in some foreign place? I hope we are home. We soon counted heads to find that people are missing. Ferdinand, Trinculo and Stephano are among the missing. It brought joy to me, when Francisco also believed that Ferdinand was alive. I was troubled and outraged when Sebastian, the king’s brother, turned down all hope, and blamed him for our troubles. As if the king had the power to create the storm that has caused us to shipwreck. Soon tiredness came upon me and the others. I fell asleep before my king. I hope nothing happened to him before he also fell asleep. Not soon after I fell asleep a buzzing began in my ear. I awoke to Sebastian and Antonio holding out their swords, threatening to kill something or someone. It was very scary not knowing who or what they were aiming their swords at. They claimed to have heard a sound, which I also thought I heard. Before I had a chance to ask what they were attacking, the king had called to us to move out. I feel a deep sorrow for the king and hopefully salvation will come soon. Alonso is making us check every available space to see if he is hiding in them. This has caused much bickering between the king and his brother. I hope to find Ferdinand soon, dead or alive, than we can stop this journey through an overgrown jungle. Walking takes its own toll on my old bones. I feel them creaking as I walk on. Soon I began to see spirits dancing and carrying food. Many mouths, including my own, began to water from the site of food. It was a great bountiful feast, which I have not seen since we left Africa not a day ago. Abruptly the spirits left, leaving the food for us to enjoy. All of a sudden, Alonso, Antonio and Sebastian were staring at something beyond the banquet of food that I, Adrian, nor Francisco could see. While they were starting they pulled out their swords and started to swing wildly. All of the sudden their swords fall from their hands, as if they were mere children again. When they came out of their trance they had the look of just seeing a ghost. The fear was clear on every one of their faces. Alonso was so induced in fear, he ran away screaming. Soon Antonio and Sebastian followed the king on their own terms. I now fear more for my safety than I did before. Trying to catch up with Alonso, Antonio, and Sebastian was harder than I thought. It would have been easier if we had not been walking all day. How I fear the worse for Alonso in his condition. I get this fear that he has gone to the extreme in his actions. Antonio and Sebastian were also acting weird. Their actions spoke of craziness, as if they have a great unspoken fear. What is this great open field? I think I see a house of some type in the center. Is that a man I see? Yes, it is. He looks a lot like my great friend Prospero (who is one man I would like to see again). I see Ferdinand, the joy on the king’s face to see his son is priceless. Everyone seems happy to see each other, only two do not share in this joy. Antonio and Sebastian have looks of disappointment. I have some insight as to why maybe Antonio has this look, but not Sebastian. Soon we will all be home again, joy to all.
